Drive the main roads through J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area as you please. We highly recommend taking 25-mile drive through its heart. But be careful of the side roads, like this one. Some might seem inviting — many seem nigh impassable for all but the most rugged of rugged vehicles — but they're closed to traffic except during hunting seasons. On the other hand, hike down them all you want. Foot traffic OK; vehicle traffic not OK. And to be clear, feel free to drive along the roads with designated camping grounds. Confusing? Sure. A friendly conservation officer gave us the heads up.
