Okeeheelee Nature Center offers 2.5 miles of hiking trails to explore, enough for a morning, afternoon or evening walk. The trails are wide and clear throughout the nature center, making for easy hiking. The one caveat we have is to be wary of the poison ivy immediately bordering the trails in many places. There is a lot of poison ivy here, but the trails themselves are well maintained. If you're old enough, you'll recognize the headline on this page as the theme song to the old Roy Rogers television show — "Happy trails to you, until we meet again ... Happy trails to You".
