A Mid-Summer's Drenching

J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area North, Indiantown, Palm Beach County

wet, muddy area
J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area is a very wet place any time of the year, but particularly in summer's drenching storms inundate normally dry trails and meadows. We took this photo in July 2015. One thing about North Grade Road is that it is asphalt, so the road is as impassable when dry is it is when wet. Yes, we said impassable. Like a Corvair, it's unsafe at any speed, at least for the health of your car's suspension.
