This the main trail along the St. Lucie River, wide, shaded, an easy hike. There are a few river overlooks at strategic locations. One of the things to note is the large number of airplants growing on the live oaks along the bank of the river. The trails at Halpatiokee Regional Park are popular spots for local residents wanting a quiet stroll in a beautiful place. Oh and our apologies to the memory of Robert Frost.
