At 86 feet above sea level, Hobe Mountain is the highest natural point in South Florida and offers spectacular vistas in all directions. This is facing south; the thin red building seen in the distance is the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse at the mouth of the Loxahatchee River after it snakes through Jonathan Dickinson State Park.
