The views are breathtaking, and the climb easy. Jacob's Outllook, the 44-foot-tall observation platform at Boca Raton's Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, offers panoramic views of South Florida's barrier island and beyond. The tower is wheelchair accessible and it's no problem for parents pushing strollers. The gentle rise on the ramp makes it an easy climb for the rest of us as well. A plaque at the top bears the words, “A vista to inspire the soul from the depths of the ocean to the skies above.” It's name honors Jacob Kosowsky, a 21-year-old Boca Raton resident who died in an auto accident.
