The Forest Floor

There are some 10 different plant communities, or habitats, within Fern Forest. Here, there is a collection of ferns, shrubs and trees that tolerate wet conditions, including red maple, dahoon holly, cabbage palms and cypress. There's also swamp fern and giant leather fern.
