The boardwalk at Chapel Trail Nature Preserve in Pembroke Pines zig-zags its way through the preserve's 450 acres of wetlands. At first, it hugs the wooded area along the western edge of the preserve, then cuts across the heart of the wetland, then out again. There are pavilions and seating areas and interpretive signs. Total length: 1,650 feet. The boardwalk is linear, so the distance you walk out, you walk back. This is the view of the boardwalk where it crosses through the wetland as seen near the entrance.
