As we noted earlier, Big Cypress National Preserve is a place of extremes. It is a beautiful place without question, and there are places to enjoy it in relative comfort. But it's also very much a wild place and needs to be treated with respect. This photo was taken in one of Big Cypress's wild places along one of the trails adjacent to the Interstate 75 corridor.
