Wildflowers are Wild!

Hungryland Slough Natural Area, Palm Beach County

wildflowers

Nothing particularly profound here. We were taken by the profusion of wildflowers within Hungryland Slough Natural Area, particularly along the berm that separates the Loop Trail from the canal that forms the western boundary of the preserve, and thought a photograph was in order. In the photo: large-flowered pink marsh and coreopsis, Florida's state flower, but narrowleaf blue-eyed grass and narrowleaf yellowtops were also exceedingly common both along the berm and elsewhere in Hungryland. Next photo.
